Hospital. Born in Bronxville New York, he moved to Cookstown New Jersey with his family when
he was a young man. He later married and moved to Groveville, NJ, to raise his family.
and Machine Operator before his retirement. Arthur enjoyed visiting Atlantic City and the shore
with his wife, Gayle. He spent many hours riding his bicycle with his son Ricky. Arthur’s hobbies
included woodworking and furniture restoration, auto repair, and tinkering with anything
mechanical. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren fondly remember working with Pop-Pop
in his workshop, building things with wood, taking apart appliances, and learning about how
things worked. His children fondly remember their annual camping trips to Belleplain State
Forest and the shore with Mom and Dad.
Benjamin, Rose and Earl. Also predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Cyndi. He is survived by
his wife of 65 years, Gayle, and his children Stephen and his wife Martha, Michael, and Richard.
Arthur has five grandchildren; Rob, Tom, Alex, Carrisa and Matt, and five great-grandchildren;
Ava, Mark. Paul, Jonny and Brandon. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Bishop
(Margie), as well as several nieces and nephews.
