Daniel Walter Filipowicz

TRENTON- Daniel W. "Danny" Filipowicz, 64, died unexpectedly, Thursday, May 19, 2022, at his home. He was born July 26, 1957, in Trenton, and has been a lifelong resident of the area.

He was a graduate of Trenton High School Class of 1975. Danny worked many years for the City of Trenton and had just recently retired. Known for his kindness and humor, he touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.

Son of the late Henry W. "Hank" and Angeline C. "Amy" (Pronesti) Filipowicz. He is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie and Jessica Filipowicz, both of Spring Hill, TN; two grandchildren, Mariana and Rocco Mays, both of Spring Hill, TN; one brother and sister-in-law, Anthony "Tony" (affectionately called Tone by Danny) Filipowicz and Lourdes “Queenie” Rodriguez; two nieces Lourdes Barreto and Clarissa Filipowicz; and 3 great-nephews, all of Trenton; and many close cousins; with special mention to Butch and Cathy O'Donnell, Eileen Almasi, Aunt Mary Almasi, and life long friend Frank Valenza.
