With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Ivan Irizarry, a cherished soul. Born on June 12, 1980, Ivan had a kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family.
Ivan was happiest surrounded by those he loved—especially when cheering on his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Sunday football games became treasured moments, filled with laughter, shared snacks, and passionate plays that bonded his family together.
He is survived by his beloved children—Jeremy Irizarry, Ivan Irizarry Jr., and Gavin Irizarry—who were the light of his life. He also leaves behind his caring brothers: Efrain Cintron, Jose Irizarry and his wife Christine Irizarry, and Javier Irizarry and his wife Cara Irizarry. Ivan especially delighted in playing with his many nieces and nephews, affectionately known as “Uncle Pito.”
He will be remembered for his humor, always willing to help others. His absence is felt profoundly, but his spirit continues in the love and memories shared by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held in the near future. In honor of Ivan’s legacy of kindness, the family asks that guests celebrate his life by performing a small act of goodwill in his memory.
