John "Johnny" Moreno

John "Johnny" Moreno of South Brunswick, New Jersey born in Medellin, Colombia, to Manuel and Nellie Moreno in February 1962 passed away, suddenly, on April 27, 2019. John graduated from Pratt Institute in 1984 and earned his masters degree from Capella University in 2003. He served in the Navy from 1986 to 1990.

John was a loving and devoted husband and father. He adored his wife and spent endless hours watching and playing soccer with his 2 sons, which brought them to their current elite status in the sport; and he encouraged his daughter throughout her childhood to dance leading her to open her own studio shortly after graduating from college.
Those who knew John will remember him as patient, thoughtful and kind!
John is survived by his loving wife, Denise; 2 sons, Anthony & Ashton; daughter, Krystal; mother, Nellie Nunez; father, Manuel & his wife, Alicia; sisters, Dora & her husband, Albert Capicotto and Natalia Sanchez-Bahr; 2 special nieces, Jennifer Tartaglia & her daughter, Kaylee and Jacqueline Tartaglia & her daughter, Angelina; Sisters & Brothers-in-Law, Judi & Joe Vitaliano, Katilina & Robert Veltre, Dori Scarano & Jeff McDowell, Alexis & John Pisapia & Millie Scarano; he was predeceased by his sister, Rosemary.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the memorial service, officiated by Reverend Beth Scibienski, on Friday, May 3rd at 3:00PM at First Presbyterian Church, 362 Georges Rd, Dayton, New Jersey, 08810.
