Patricia Carolyn Trasp

With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a beautiful life, we announce the passing of our beloved mother/grandmother Patricia C. Trasp. She left us peacefully on Tuesday, 5/12/2026 at the age of 78.

Born on September 29th, 1947 in Trenton, NJ to her pre-deceased parents Alfred G Grainger and Olive V. Grainger. Pat was a lifelong Trenton/Hamilton resident. She was a free, beautiful spirit & a natural-born caregiver. Since a young child she always embodied a guardian energy Being the oldest of 7 siblings & Helping her parents with her younger siblings ignited a passion in her heart that she always carried with her till the end. She built and dedicated her life to her whole family. From Raising her own two kids & then also raising her grandchildren & eventually even helping with raising great grandchildren as well. She poured her heart & whole life into taking care of & making sure her family was taken care of. Many times she put others before her self, Always filling our home with laughter, the comforting aroma of her home cooked meals, endless patience & sassiness. She loved art, playing board games (Yahtzee was a favorite of hers) music, nature & her comedies (shows & movies). Pat had a rare gift for making everyone she met feel seen, valued & uplifted. Her vibrant energy always showed through by the love & the way she cared & took care of everyone in her life, friends, family, neighbors & even strangers. She was the whole neighborhood’s mother/grandmother & her arms & heart was always open to everyone. The sense of community & love/care she gave to everyone will be carried on & remembered always.

She is lovingly remembered & deeply missed by her children Jane Trasp & Shane Trasp; her grandchildren, Ashley Ferri (Logan Lippincott), Eric Trasp, Samantha Trasp, Stacy Trasp & Carly Trasp; her 8 great grandchildren; & her wide circle of friends & neighbors who were lucky enough to know her & experience her loving nature & energy.
