Timothy Patrick Ostopuck, 67, passed away September 15, 2021 at RWJ Hamilton Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born in Trenton, NJ to James and Margaret (Peggy) Ostopuck.
Tim is survived by his sister, Kathryn Leist, his niece Amber Brovak, nieces, nephews, many friends and especially George Sexton who selflessly helped Tim through many challenges during his illness.
Tim dedicated his life to corrections and serving his community in fire service. He was a retired corrections officer from the Trenton State Prison system in which he served for over 30 years. He was also a member of PBA #105. Tim joined and went on to become the President of the Whitehorse Fire Company and served this post for 11 years and was a lifetime member. Tim served on the Whitehorse Fire Police and was captain for 15 years.
He enjoyed horse racing, playing the lottery, watching wrestling and football, especially the Eagles. Tim loved and looked forward to attending the Hall of Fame game each year with friends.
Tim was always involved in the Fire House annual Christmas party and Santa Run.
Tim was a great friend and colleague to many. You could count on him for anything.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at the Whitehorse Fire Company on October 9th from 1pm – 3pm.
Burial will follow and be private.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested to please make a donation to the Whitehorse Fire Company, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of choice.
