David graduated from Trenton Catholic High School, Trenton, NJ and received a
B.S. in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University,
Houghton, MI on the GI Bill. He was an Electronics Technician in the US Navy
Submarine Service and served on the USS Triton, USS John Adams and USS
Pargo. He always celebrated and respected his and others veteran status.

After graduating from college, he worked in Labor Relations at PSE&G and in
Retail Customer Service. He was a set designer and builder for the Off-
Broadstreet Theater in Hopewell, NJ with dear friends Bob and Julie Thick.

After retirement he completed the Master Gardeners’ course (Master Gardens of
Mercer County). He recently received the status of Aurum Ensigne Emeritus.  In
his first year he led his classmates in the number of hours dedicated to Helpline,
an astonishing 189 hours. He cared passionately about MEG and took his Co-
Chairing responsibilities very seriously.  He coordinated, designed, and
constructed many projects with the MEG Committee.  For 16 years, David was a
much loved and valuable member of the Native Plant Gardens and was the tent
guru for major events at MEG. David played a huge role in the creation of the
meadow at the Gardens site.  He was happiest working with master gardeners
and was affectionately referred to as “our logistical engineer”.

An avid Green Bay Packers fan, he also loved the daily challenge of completing
a suite of crossword puzzles from the local papers and watching Jeopardy, and
the History and Science channels on TV.

He was a member of All Saints’ Church, Princeton, NJ. A Celebration of Life for
David is planned for the Spring. Details will follow once plans are made.
