On Thursday, January 28, 2021, Marion Rumianowski, loving mother and grandmother, passed away at home surrounded by family at the age of 88. She will be truly missed, and is loved dearly.
Marion Ofner was born on January 31,1932 in Trenton, NJ to Anna and Stephen Ofner. She graduated from Hamilton High School West in 1950 and enjoyed dancing, crocheting and sewing. She worked most of her life as an administrative assistant at Atlantic Richfield company in Philadelphia, and after retirement at Dreamline Kitchens and Baths in Trenton, NJ. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City to play blackjack. In 1953 she married Chester Rumianowski. They raised three sons in Yardville, NJ when Chester passed away in 1968.
Marion had a passion for dogs, and had many doggie companions throughout her life. Her latest dog, Rusty, adored her and would often follow her from room to room simply wanting to be near her. She enjoyed walking her dog in the park, cooking, gardening and she loved to bird watch. She also enjoyed attending Hamilton Township Garden club meetings. Her beautiful well-tended garden brought her joy, and she was known to spend much of her time weeding, planting and creating beautiful bouquets. She found pleasure in big family holiday gatherings, and insisted on preparing delicious meals herself. She was known for her quick wit, sarcasm, and generous loving spirit.
Marion was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband, and youngest son. She is survived by her two sons, two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren who brought her delight when they visited. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Hamilton Township Animal Shelter and Adoption Center on her behalf.
